MenuBarTimer for macOS

Information we collect

We collect no personal information. MenuBarTimer runs entirely on your Mac and never sends anything to us or anyone else.

Data stored on your Mac

The following is stored locally, in your Mac's standard app preferences. It is never uploaded and never synced:

• Your timer duration preferences and recent/quick-start timers
• Whether Focus mode and other settings are turned on
• Your selected alarm sound and notification preferences
• Your session history: the date, duration, and type of each timer you run
• Any task descriptions, notes, ratings, and tags you add to a session

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party. Uninstalling the app removes it.

No third-party services

MenuBarTimer does not use analytics, advertising networks, or any cloud service. It works entirely offline.

No network access

MenuBarTimer does not connect to the internet or transmit data of any kind. All functionality is local to your Mac.

Children's privacy

Since we collect no personal information, the app is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll note it in the App Store update notes. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the current policy.

Your rights

Since we collect no personal data, there's nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on your behalf. Everything already lives on your Mac, under your control.
